Weekend Antics

So this weekend was fun!
Nothing too exciting happened, but it was fun!

Friday night, Melissa, Marlon and I hung out in the dorm with some Blue Moon (which is always better with an orange slice lol!) We played this one game entitled "Roxanne" where you listen to the Police song, and everytime Sting sings "Roxanne", half of the group takes a drink, and when he sings "Red Light", the other half does.  Well, I don't know if you've ever heard the chorus of that song...lol!!!  Needless to say it was a lot of fun!
Saturday, I had rehearsal for TRIBUTE! in the morning, which was good...We (sorta) learned the choreography for "That's How You Jazz" then spent about an hour and a half sitting in the caf and talking about everything from Grant's acting class to masturbation (which really isn't too far of a stretch when talking about Grant's class!).  After that I hung around the dorm, then went to do House for Butterfly Collection for the last time.  I stayed and watched the show with Deej and this guy Mitchell who was doing house as well.  Good times...
After that, I hung out in Courtney and Melissa's room with the girls, watching bad Arnold Schwarzenegger movies ("BYE" haha) and the like.  Around 2:30am, we moved the party out to the lounge where some other people from the floor and Kavita were all talking.  It was crazy because none of us have sat and talked like that since the beginning of the year, so it was nice to sit like that...Of course, I wound up going to bed at like 4:30am AGAIN for no apparent reason! But whatever...haha!!
Had Vagina Monologue rehearsal today, which was fun.  I'm starting to get really excited about that show!  It should be fun to do in front of an audience...I'm hoping people will be relaxed enough so that they'll laugh at the jokes and stuff...don't want a lot of uptight people in the audience, especially with the "climax" of the show, if you will... ;)

OH! haha forgot something pretty important/cool...I auditioned for Medea on Friday night, which was fun within itself (we did lots of improv...i miss it so much) and I got the Chorus Leader!! I'm so excited!! I'm onstage practially the whole time, which of course translates to me having a SHITLOAD of lines, so that should be a fun task of memorizing all that junk...haha!!
For those of you who don't know, the Chorus in a show like Medea is a Greek Chorus (Not a dancing/singing chorus), and it's kind of the theatre version of the peanut gallery...It's usually a whole group of people, but this is a small cast show, so I'm basically taking over for the entire chorus...oy!! haha! I'm excited though!  I haven't done a classical play like this in a while, so it should be fun.  Oh, and also, Steven, the director, is really into improv and just trying weird, crazy things with our characters...so i'm really excited for that aspect too...

soooooo i've rambled on enough about my weekend...I've added a couple of things onto this page.  I'm starting to get the hang of this whole blog thing...yay!  Oh yeah, if you, as the reader, have the urge to post something in the comments section, I made it open to everyone, so even if you don't have a blog, you can still comment on stuff if you'd like...whateva! haha!!

so i'm going to stop being anti-social and either do homework or go hang out in the girls room...woot!!
