Bliss...and lots of Tide!

I think it should be mandatory for college students to not have classes on fridays...
it's so relaxing to be able to sleep until 1pm without feeling obligated to wake up because you're sleeping the weekend away or because you have a class at 1:25...
plus, if you have a three-day weekend, so get so much more done without having to cram a million things into two short days!

speaking of getting a million things done, i don't think it's possible for me to hold off on doing laundry another day...so i've gathered up my quarters (though i'm still about 75 cents short of drying my clothes) and i've proclaimed today as my laundry day!!
of course, doing laundry in the towers is always interesting...not only do the machines barley get their job done, but usually there's a line to do your laundry.  I don't like venturing to strange floors in the towers, so I've been patiently been awaiting for my floormates to finish their loads so I can do my own!
i think that's really the only part about college that I really don't enjoy (other than the caf).  I can deal with the noise, and the homework, and waking up for a 9am class after going to sleep at 3am, but laundry really is a pain in my ass!
not only does the washer seem to leave little bits of detergent on my clothes after I paid $1.25 to wash them, I then have to bust out my drying rack (which makes it impossible for sarah and I to move around the room) and hang practically all of my clothes to line-dry.  Then, I have to let my non-line drying clothes sit either in my hamper, in the dryer, or on my desk chair so I don't have to spend an additional $1.25 to just dry my underwear.  Long are the days of separating my colors from my whites!! (That's another $2.50 for wash&dry)  So once my clothes are done air-drying, I can finally put in that final $1.25 to dry everything!  But why should the dryer actually DRY my clothes??  Despite the fact that my clothes have been line-dried AND put in the dryer for 60 minutes, they STILL come out damp somehow?
but that's just the actual laundry process...finding $2.50 in quarters is a lot easier said than done! if i actually have cash on me (which is rare) the change machine on B-Level never works, and if I don't have cash, I have to go around begging for quarters from my floormates in exchange for dimes and nickels...oy! haha!!

so i have declared today as laundry day...hurray for me!!
at least it gives me time to sit at my desk, do some homework, and send ample bumper sticker requests on facebook...
